When I was a little girl, my parents became Christian missionaries to a group of indigenous people living in the highlands of Guatemala. The Ket’che were descendants of the Maya, and they were considered at that time to be some of the most marginalized people in the world. We first moved to Costa Rica where we learned Spanish, then we moved to Fray Bartolome de Las Casas, Guatemala, and lived there for nearly three years.

Eventually we moved back to Alabama and I grew up about two hours north of the Gulf of America on the Mississippi line in Jackson, Alabama.

I was raised in the kind of family where you were expected to work hard, pay for and make your own way. I graduated from the University of Alabama with a business degree, and I met my husband, Jonathan, 20 years ago when I moved to Wyoming. We are small businesses owners in Jackson, and we have four daughters and a bunch of pets.

My political involvement in Wyoming began when I noticed a consultant trying to fleece the state for $10 million. I’d wake up at 2am, drive to Cheyenne to sit through a full day of committee meetings, then try to reason with the committee over five minutes worth of public comment and drive back home. I also began attending a few state GOP events during this time.
In 2016, I received an email from the Wyoming GOP stating that volunteers were needed in Wisconsin and Michigan to canvass for Trump. I signed up and spent nearly a week with my sister knocking on 1,200 doors in a suburb of Detroit. Here is a little piece I wrote about that experience.
Like many true Republicans in Teton County, when I would try to get involved in my local party I did not feel their values reflected mine. For years I have been filing public records requests, showing up at public meetings, and doing what I can to fight back the socialism that is taking over Jackson. My friend, Blair Maus, and I, co-founded the Save the Rodeo & Fairgrounds movement, and we tried really hard to stop housing projects from being built on our historic public land.

In past elections, my children and I have nearly knocked on hundreds of doors in Teton and Lincoln County in hopes of getting Republicans elected. I began working to change our local GOP leadership. My husband, Jonathan, and I are precinct committee people. On March 4th, 2025, we finally took back the Teton County GOP and now the entire executive committee and state central committee is comprised of 100% grassroots conservatives. I was thankful to be elected state committeewoman!
I previously served as a board member for the Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund, but of course I did not get reappointed and I wonder if it is because I fought hard against things like inappropriate monologue performances and transgender bathrooms being installed at theaters with taxpayer dollars.

Twice I have been honored to be selected as an alternate delegate for the Republican National Convention in 2020 and 2024. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know delegates from around the state in Milwaukee this past summer.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking and floating down the Snake River with my family. I also drive all over the state looking at petroglyphs, and I can essentially summarize most informational signs around Wyoming.
I am a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and I love learning about my ancestors. My Mother’s family, the Comptons, have lived in Alabama since the early 1800s and are considered a Pioneer Family. They heroically fought in all the wars and typically earned a living as farmers. Many of them could not sign the census and simply had to write an “x” for their names, but I am very grateful that they tirelessly toiled away to make our country the greatest country in the world.

I am a political conference junkie, and have attended many Republican events hosted by organizations like FreedomWorks and Turning Point USA, etc, around the country. I am also a Christian and attend Cornerstone Church in Jackson.
I recently ran across this video of my oldest daughter, Harper, who is now 14-years-old. This was taken back on the Hageman 2018 campaign trail!
